I want to extend my sincere gratitude to the ESF alumni population for their support during my tenure as president of the ESF Alumni Association over the past four years. I would like to particularly thank the Alumni Executive Committee and the full Alumni Association Board of Directors. My years as president have been wonderful, educational, and exciting. We have sailed through some rough waters and accomplished much.

At the Alumni Association’s annual meeting in October, I handed over the reins to my successor, Gary Lipp ’86. Gary will do a phenomenal job in the role of president of the Alumni Association. I now take on the role of past-president and will remain on the Executive Committee.

I want to extend a special thank you to Debbie Caviness, Nichole Dougherty, and Jennifer Cullivan in the Alumni Office. They have supported me throughout my tenure as president and their devotion to the alumni of ESF is evident in everything they do.

In closing, let me say that it has been an honor to serve as president of the ESF Alumni Association. We are family, and I thank you all for being so supportive of our organization.

Hello, my green-bleeding brothers and sisters! I am honored to have been elected as the next president of the ESF Alumni Association, serving the 22,000 graduates of our great alma mater.

First, a little about me. My roots are firmly planted here in Central New York. Having grown up in the region, I graduated from Cicero/North Syracuse CSD. I served a brief tour in the Army working in a biological research facility in Texas, then headed back to CNY to earn my B.S. in environmental and forest biology from the College in 1986. I then continued with my education and completed my master’s degree at Syracuse University in science education. I spent my career teaching biology at my old school district in North Syracuse and retired from there in 2018.

These are exciting times for our country, our college, and life in general! I am fortunate to be starting my term with a new national administration that takes science and the environmental challenges ahead seriously. This is especially good news for our recent graduates as this should translate to more career opportunities available for those entering the environmental fields. This also bodes well for ESF, which should see an increase in the number of students interested in getting degrees in environmental fields.

We are also thrilled to welcome our newly-appointed College President, Joanie Mahoney! She is very eager and anxious to help our institution move forward, and is committed to making ESF a more globally recognized leader in environmental education.

I want to thank all of my fellow Alumni Association board members who I have volunteered with throughout the course of my 13 years on the board. Each and every one has contributed to making this Association both productive and enjoyable! I must also give special recognition to the Office of Alumni Relations staff, led by Director Debbie Caviness, and her co-workers, Jennifer Cullivan and Nichole Dougherty who together do the majority of the work for our Association. They are amazing and have truly stepped up during this trying time. Throughout the pandemic, they have not only performed their regular duties and tasks but have also taken on the additional responsibility of managing the ESF College Bookstore in the absence of a store manager.

Be sure to visit www.esf.edu/alumni to keep up-to-date on the latest news and events, become an Association member, and update our database if you have pertinent changes. Keep promoting our great school to keep the amazing young leaders of tomorrow coming to our esteemed institution!
I am here to serve you so please feel free to reach out to me directly at galipp28@gmail.com. Take care and be safe!

“When passionate passion develops into a deep feeling, we begin to realize that it is not only the pleasure that we get from communicating with a partner that matters to us. Now the loved one is important to us in and of itself, – agrees psychotherapist Alexander Orlov. – It becomes unique https://vibragame.net/sex-chat-bongacams.html for us, as if it contained an important part of ourselves. And we are ready to sacrifice a lot for the sake of our feelings. ”

So caring and responsibility are the signs of true love? Also no. After all, it often happens that we build such relationships by force of inertia, habit or gentleness of character.
